Spectra 12T Stainless Steel Temperature Switch Meets Hazardous Location Requirements

Watertown, MA - United Electric Controls Company introduces a new mechanical temperature switch designed for corrosive or explosion-proof applications found throughout the chemical processing industry. The compact and lightweight Spectra 12T temperature switch features stainless steel construction, a sealed microswitch and easy in-line adjustment. 'Triple approval,' (UL, cUL and CENELEC) ensures its suitability to meet U.S., Canadian and European hazardous location requirements. Typical applications include the monitoring, control, alarm and shutdown of critical processes and equipment found in plants, offshore and in system packages.
Bulb and capillary configuration allows the head to be mounted remotely...up to 50 feet away. The thermal assembly includes ambient compensation to make sure temperature fluctuations will not affect performance. Optional armor cable provides added protection of the capillary. Performance specifications include adjustable temperature ranges as low as - 130ºF and as high as 650ºF, repeatability of ± 1%.
