10 AMP, 280 VAC SWITCHING CAPACITY ADDED TO THE ONE SERIES ELECTRONIC SWITCH PRODUCT LINE

Watertown, MA - United Electric Controls announces the addition of a 10-ampere, 280 VAC solid-state relay switching output to the popular One Series electronic switch product line. In addition to the available pressure and temperature sensors, this high-power output adds higher capacity for electronic switching and control. The new One Series 4-Wire handles many local switching applications that incorporate large loads, like compressor protection, pump control and motor starter circuits. With built-in decision making capability and high-current switching capacity, the One Series 4-Wire can provide a local switch without the need for a PLC or DCS.
For gauge pressure applications, the One Series 4-Wire utilizes piezo-resistive strain gauge technology. A resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensor, available in local and remote configurations, is used for temperature applications. Wetted surfaces are all stainless steel for excellent media compatibility.
The One Series 4-Wire electronic switch uses a 115 VAC power supply to power the switch electronics and is ideal for applications where power is available. The switch output can handle up to 10 amps at 280 VAC. Using a digital display for process and settings, programming the set point and deadband for precise switching and control is very easy and takes only 60 seconds. Incorporating an electronic switch and a LCD display in one instrument allows the One Series 4-Wire to effectively replace a mechanical switch and a gauge – using only one process tap. Additional One Series 4-Wire features include self-diagnostics, min/max memory and plugged-port detection.
