United Electric Controls expands, acquiring stainless steel pressure switch and transmitter lines from Artisan Technologies
Watertown, Ma - United Electric Controls (UE), the innovators in threshold detection and switching products, including pressure and temperature switches and sensors, announces the acquisition of the series 360 and 460 compact stainless steel pressure switches and pressure transmitters from Artisan Technologies, Parsippany, NJ.
According to United Electric Controls CEO and President, David Reis, the acquired lines add significant application depth and specification capability for United Electric in the global energy market. With rugged, compact designs made of #316 stainless steel construction, the 360 and 460 series products are particularly suitable for demanding hazardous, explosion-proof locations. Applications include safety and monitoring systems on offshore platforms, oil and gas exploration, pipeline and delivery systems, as well as process and equipment protection in refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants. The 360 and 460 series carry Cenelec EXxd IIC T6 certification for flameproof service, matching the criteria of UE's worldwide customer base.
