UNITED ELECTRIC SELECTED AS FINALIST FOR "EXCELLENCE IN INNOVATION" AWARD
Watertown, MA - United Electric Controls One Series Electronic Temperature Switch has been selected a finalist in New Equipment Digest's "Excellence in Innovation" Award. UE is one of 120 finalists that were selected from thousands of products that were entered in 1998 and 1999.
The 1999 Excellence in Innovation Award, a prestigious industry-wide program sponsored by New Equipment Digest, recognizes and honors the most unique and innovative products and equipment introduced during the past year. A panel of business to business technical editors reviewed thousands of product releases that were submitted to New Equipment Magazine over the past year. They selected 10 finalist in each of 12 categories based on how unique, useful and innovative the product is to today's industries.
United Electric's One Series is the only switch in its class that offers all the benefits of a switch, transmitter and gauge in a single, self-contained unit at the cost of an electromechanical switch! With a built-in "I AM WORKING" visual indicator, the One Series takes all the guess work out of protecting equipment, processes and people, at half the cost of a transmitter.
The categories include assembly & fastening, computers & peripherals, material handling, plant maintenance products, motion control/fluid power, metalworking equipment, electrical & electronics, plant maintenance equipment, instruments & controls, software, safety & environment, and process equipment. Voting takes place in the July issue of NED. All the winners will be announced in the December issue.
Since 1931, United Electric Controls has been a leader in innovative Threshold Detection and Switching technology for process and allied industries. With corporate headquarters in Watertown, Massachusetts, UE has maintained ISO 9001 certification since 1994.
