United Electric's Value Engineering Means Price Reduction for Customers
Watertown, MA - One of UE's critical business objectives for 1999 is to value engineer core products to improve our competitive position and provide a greater degree of price flexibility. This flexibility will enable UE to be more competitive when it comes to protecting business or securing new customers.
As an early result of this value engineering effort, UE announces that we will be rolling back list prices on all 400 Series products effective May 10,1999. This price reduction will result in a 10% savings to customers on 400 Series products.
"In announcing this price reduction, UE is sending a message that while our competitors are raising prices, we continue to focus on our product design and manufacturing processes" says Don Smith, Vice President of Marketing, "thus ensuring that we provide customers with the most cost effective solutions for Threshold Detection and Switching."
Since 1931, United Electric Controls has been a leader in innovative Threshold Detection and Switching technology for process and allied industries.
