One Series 2-Wire Wins "Breakthrough Product of 2002" by PROCESSING MAGAZINE!

Watertown, Ma - United Electric Controls (UE) The One Series 2-Wire electronic pressure switch has been recognized by PROCESSING MAGAZINE as "Breakthrough Product of the Year" for 2002. Brian D. Marz, Publisher, visited United Electric Controls on January 29, 2003 tho present Dennis Lonigro, UE's Vice President of Engineering, and David Wilbur, Principal Engineer, with the award plaque.

Each year PROCESSING MAGAZINE evaluates many new product offerings and recognizes the best products for their contribution as outstanding developments that improve processing operations. The magazine describes the One Series 2-Wire Pressure Switch as a solid-state switch that detects blockage of the sensor port due to process debris, slurries and crustation build-up. Operating on just two wires and powered from PLC/DCS discrete inputs, the One Series' diagnotic capabilities include detection, signal and display of the plugged or isolated sensor condition, signaling operators to take corrective action to restore normal process flow and ensure accurate monitoring and control. "With Plugged Port Detection, users can reduce process downtime, maintenance costs and help ensure accurate process measurements and safety. The One Series 2-Wire switch is an economical alternaive to transmitters, providing a cost-savings."

Please join me in congratulating United Electric Controls' Engineering staff for designing a break-through product of 2002.
